Cassidy Announces $7.8 Million in Hurricanes Laura, Ida Relief

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced Louisiana will receive $7,842,213.63 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in relief for Hurricanes Laura and Ida. 

“Almost two years after Ida and three years after Laura, Louisiana families have shown how resilient they are,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will help ensure that Louisiana—from our power grid to our schools—is prepared for the next storm.”
