WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) today announced Louisiana will receive $2,607,655.63 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in relief for Hurricanes Ida and Delta. “Our families in Terrebonne are resilient despite the devastation Ida and other storms have caused,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will help our communities recover completely.” The Terrebonne Parish School Board will receive $1,344,086.87 for emergency protective measures in the wake of Hurricane Ida, and the Louisiana Office of Emergency Preparedness will receive $1,263,568.76 as reimbursement for management costs in the wake of Hurricane Delta.
