Today, US Senator Bill Cassidy, MD (R-LA) announced Louisiana will receive federal funding to assist in the ongoing flood recovery efforts. The announced Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) grants allow Ascension Parish to remove long-standing debris and Cristo Rey Baton Rouge Franciscan High School to construct temporary facilities in place of school buildings affected by flood and storm damage.
“Grants like these are crucial to continuing disaster recovery efforts across Louisiana,” said Dr. Cassidy. “Removing debris and rebuilding schools is essential to recovery.”
