WASHINGTON—US Senator Bill Cassidy, MD (R-LA) congratulated Congressman Ryan Zinke (R-MT) on his nomination as Secretary of the Interior.
The Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, on which Dr. Cassidy sits and chairs the subcommittee on national parks, will be holding confirmation hearings for Rep. Zinke’s nomination during the next Congress.
Dr. Cassidy released the following statement on the nomination:
“Congressman Zinke has been a successful member of the House Natural Resources committee and is a solid choice for Secretary of the Interior.
