WASHINGTON— U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) released the following statement on President Obama’s stop in Baton Rouge today: “The president is trying to convince us that down is up. That the economy is doing better when thousands of Louisiana’s workers are losing jobs, that Obamacare is working when health insurance premiums are skyrocketing and becoming unaffordable for too many families, that the right to keep and bear arms is responsible for home grown terrorists killing 14 people at a Christmas party. If the president listens to the people of Louisiana and doesn’t just speak, he will understand life for those outside of Washington.” |
