WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced Jefferson Parish will receive $1,181,826.90 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for replacement of the Jefferson Golden Age facility after Hurricane Ida.
“South Louisiana has shown its resiliency while rebuilding from Hurricane Ida,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will ensure our communities are better prepared to weather the next storm.”
