WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced Jefferson Parish will receive $1,988,427.23 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for waterway debris removal operations as a result of Hurricane Ida.
“Louisiana communities have shown great resiliency while recovering from Hurricane Ida,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will help make Jefferson Parish whole again.”
