Cassidy Announces $3.6 Million for Ascension Parish in Hurricane Ida Relief

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced Ascension Parish will receive $3,587,808.18 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for debris removal in Bayou Conway as a result of Hurricane Ida. 

“Louisiana is resilient and has proven it while recovering from Hurricane Ida,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will aid recovery in Ascension Parish and help bring our bayou communities back to wholeness.”
