WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced Jefferson Parish will receive $1,462,147.79 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for management costs as a result of Hurricane Ida.
“Our communities are still recovering from Hurricane Ida, but they remain optimistic and resilient,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will help continue recovery efforts and prepare for future storms.”
