Cassidy Announces $13.5 Million for South Louisiana in Hurricane Laura, Ida Relief

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced Louisiana will receive $13,491,123.64 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in Hurricanes Laura and Ida relief.

“In the years following Hurricanes Laura and Ida, South Louisiana families have shown their resiliency,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will help our communities continue to rebuild and recover.”

$1,312,836.75Office of Risk ManagementThis grant will provide federal funding for permanent repairs as a result of Hurricane Ida.
