WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced that Governor’s Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP) will receive $7,172,226.66 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for recipient management costs as a result of Hurricane Laura.
“Louisiana is no stranger to storms and the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness plays a key role,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding ensures they can be made whole from the last storm and be prepared for the next.”
