WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) today announced the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) will grant the Lake Charles Regional Airport $1,000,000 to construct new terminal departure and arrival area canopies to provide shelter for passengers. This funding is a result of the Bipartisan CARES Act, passed in March of 2020.
“A good airport is a city’s first impression to potential investors and job creators,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This project will benefit the Lake Charles region and help bring new opportunity to Louisiana.”
