WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) today announced the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will grant Louisiana a total of $16,225,731.12 in Hurricane Ida relief. Specifically, the funding will go to Lafourche Parish for facility repairs and St. Tammany Parish for the removal of debris.
“Our communities remain resilient following Hurricane Ida’s destruction,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding helps South Louisiana pick up the pieces and prepare for the next storm.”
