WASHINGTON –U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced the Lake Charles Harbor and Terminal District will receive $1,715,458.15 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in relief for Hurricane Laura. The funding is for emergency protective measures. “Ports are a vital part of the Louisiana economy and our community’s resilience,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding can help Lake Charles return to wholeness long after Hurricane Laura made landfall.” ### |
