WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) today announced that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is providing more than $21.3 million the Franciscan Ministries of Our Lady Health System for emergency protective measures taken to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The Our Lady system has been a lifeline for many during this pandemic. This federal funding supports the system’s mission of saving lives and providing for the wellbeing of those they serve,” said Dr. Cassidy.
The Franciscan Ministries of Our Lady Health System operates health care facilities across Louisiana, primarily in the Baton Rouge and Lafayette regions.
