WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) today announced the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will grant Tulane University $2,822,728 to expand research on female cognitive aging. The Tulane Center for Aging is one of the nation’s leading institutions on geriatrics and aging research.
“As a physician, we need to ensure our seniors are taken care of, especially with cognitive health” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding keeps Tulane at the forefront of aging research, helping Louisiana seniors live long and fruitful lives.”
