WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) today announced the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development will receive $4,476,602.07 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for Hurricane Laura relief. Specifically, this funding will go towards state management costs for recovery efforts. “Over two years since Hurricane Laura, and our coastal communities are still feeling the impacts,” said Dr. Cassidy.“This funding will help Southwest Louisiana families as they continue to rebuild.” |
