WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) today announced that Louisiana will receive $5,224,965.00 from his Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) to expand, improve, and modernize the Algiers Point Ferry Terminal. “Having reliable transportation is critical to creating jobs and opportunity in a region,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding for the Algiers ferry service from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act will make it easier for folks to get to work.”
