WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced Louisiana will receive $967,378,177.00 in Federal-Aid Highway Program funds from his Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA). This funding will be distributed over the course of Fiscal Year 2024 through various programs.
“By investing in our transportation systems, we are building an economy for 2050,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will pave safer roads and repair highways that allows Louisiana’s families and businesses to thrive.”
