WASHINGTON – U.S. Senators Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) issued the following statement in response to the Supreme Court’s ruling upholding the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program:
“The President offered to extend citizenship to DACA recipients if Democrats would agree to secure the southern border. That would still be a good deal. I ask Democrats to stop blocking the security of the southern border and take President Trump up on this deal,” Dr. Cassidy said.
