WASHINGTON – U.S. Senators Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) and Roger Marshall, M.D. (R-KS) placed a friendly wager ahead of tonight’s Texas Bowl matchup between the Louisiana State University Tigers and Kansas State University Wildcats.

When the Tigers win, Senator Cassidy will receive Kansas steaks from Senator Marshall. Should the Wildcats beat the Tigers, Cassidy offered Marshall the choice of seafood gumbo, andouille sausage, turtle soup or crawfish etouffee. Marshall chose turtle soup.
