ICYMI: Cassidy Introduces Terry Doughty to Senate Committee on the Judiciary

This morning, US Senator Bill Cassidy, MD (R-LA) introduced Western District of Louisiana Judicial Nominee Terry Doughty at today’s Senate Committee on the Judiciary Nomination Hearing. The nomination is for the Western District of Louisiana Judgeship based in Monroe, Louisiana.

 

Judge Doughty has served as the Division A Judge in the Fifth Judicial District in Louisiana since 2008. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Louisiana Tech University and his law degree from the Paul M. Hebert Law School at Louisiana State University.

 

Prior to his judgeship, Judge Doughty spent 24 years in private practice in Rayville, Louisiana. He was a partner at the Cotton, Hoychick & Doughty, LLP beginning in 1987.
