Updated Text and State-by-State Numbers Released for GCHJ

Today, US Senator Bill Cassidy, MD (R-LA) released updated legislative text, section-by-section, and an HHS state-by-state impact table for the updated version of Graham-Cassidy-Heller-Johnson.

“We believe patients should have more control over their health care destiny, not less. Graham-Cassidy-Heller-Johnson returns power back to patients and states to make the decisions that are best for them,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This plan protects those with pre-existing conditions and gives states resources and flexibility to lower premiums and increase the number of Americans insured.”

Including savings in match payments, Louisiana has the same resources as under Obamacare and more flexibility to help working families with health insurance.

“Graham-Cassidy-Heller-Johnson gives Louisiana resources and flexibility to bring better health care and health coverage to working families,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This a win for patients in the United States and in Louisiana.”
