WASHINGTON–U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) today released a statement following his vote in support of the Permanent Reauthorization of the September 11th Victims Compensation Fund Act.
“9/11 responders risked their lives to save others. Some have now developed conditions which place their lives at risk in other ways. This bill recognizes heroism and does what is possible to restore health.” said Dr. Cassidy.
