Cassidy Announces $16 Million in Hurricane Relief for Louisiana

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced Louisiana will receive a total of $16,225,956.04 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in hurricane relief.

“While we are years removed from Hurricanes Laura and Ida, our recovery continues,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will help South Louisiana be better prepared for future storms.”

This grant will provide federal funding to Louisiana Children’s Medical Center DBA LCMC Health for generator repairs required as a result Hurricane Ida.

Washington – St. Tammany Electric Coop, Inc.

This grant will provide federal funding for Alternative Procedure Debris Removal required as a result of Hurricane Ida.
