WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced Southeastern Louisiana University will receive $1,265,307.35 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for permanent repairs to the Ralph R. Pottle Music Building as a result of Hurricane Ida.
“Ensuring our schools and universities can withstand natural disasters is critical,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This is welcome funding for Southeastern Louisiana University that will improve resiliency and aid repairs from Hurricane Ida.”
