WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced the South Louisiana Electrical Cooperative Association (SLECA) will receive $1,908,607.93 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for emergency reconstruction of substation access roadways damaged as a result Hurricane Ida.
“Louisiana’s continued recovery from Hurricane Ida is a testament to our resiliency,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will support south Louisiana on the path to rebuilding and preparing for the next storm.”
