WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced Louisiana will receive $12,622,006.18 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for Hurricanes Laura and Ida and severe weather relief.
“Severe weather is a part of life in Louisiana, but our communities are resilient through it all,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will help our state rebuild from past weather events and prepare for future storms.”

$1,733,224.04 | Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness | This grant will provide federal funding for management costs as a result of severe winter storms. |
