WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) today announced Louisiana will receive $1,771,680.00 from his Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) to help communities develop action plans to make roadways safer for drivers and pedestrians. This is additional funding to the $5.1 million that was announced last week from IIJA for road safety.
“There are too many roads in Louisiana that are dangerous for the families who drive on them,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding from the infrastructure law will give local officials the tools they need to keep people safe on the road.”
