WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced that Iberia Parish School Board will receive $1,756,561.46 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in Hurricane Rita relief. “Despite the significant flood damage from Hurricane Rita, Louisiana communities are resilient,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding goes towards improvement projects at Peebles Elementary School to aid in recovery and better prepare for the next storm.” ### |
