Cassidy Announces $2.2 Million for Madisonville in Hurricane Ida Relief

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced the Office of Risk Management will receive $2,247,178.79 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for the replacement of the Fairview-Riverside State Park dock, pier, and fish cleaning station as a result of Hurricane Ida. 

“Louisiana’s communities are resilient through storms, and our state parks are no different,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will restore Fairview-Riverside State Park and ensure it is prepared for future natural disasters.”
