WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced that Lake Charles will receive $2,319,096.60 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The funding will be used for management costs as a result of Hurricane Laura.
“Years after Hurricane Laura, we still see blue tarps on roofs in Lake Charles,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will aid with the recovery and return communities to wholeness.”
