WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) today announced Lake Charles Regional Airport will receive a total of $2,500,000.00 from his Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) to improve the facility. Specifically, the funding replaces two existing passenger boarding bridges at the airport.
“Investing in our airports is crucial to bring more jobs and economic opportunity to our communities,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding from the Infrastructure Bill helps Lake Charles recover and bring business back into the region.”
