WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced Kenner’s Emergency Operations Center will receive $3,247,813.88 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for emergency protective measures as a result of Hurricane Ida.
“Louisiana has shown great resiliency in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will aid recovery in Kenner and ensure they are equipped for future storms.”
