WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced Calcasieu Parish will receive $3,688,797.14 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in Hurricane Laura relief.
“In the aftermath of Hurricane Laura, Louisiana remains resilient,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will support the recovery of Calcasieu Parish and ensure our communities are prepared when the next storm hits.”

$1,115,785.80 | City of Lake Charles | This grant will provide federal funding for the permanent restoration of the damaged Nelson Road Park as a result of Hurricane Laura. |
$1,690,291.00 | City of Lake Charles | This grant will provide federal funding for building repairs required as a result of Hurricane Laura. |
