WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced the Office of Risk Management will receive $3,971,291.59 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in Hurricane Laura relief for damages to the SOWELA Technical Community College Arts & Humanities Building.
“SOWELA Technical Community College faced adversity when Hurricane Laura hit, but the community showed their resiliency,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will help repair damages and ensure Lake Charles students have a safe place to learn.”
