WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) today announced the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will grant the City of Kenner a total of $3,666,416.57 in Hurricane Ida relief. The funding is reimbursement for debris removal in the wake of the hurricane.
“Months after Hurricane Ida, our communities are still returning to normal,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will help Kenner fully recover and prepare for the next disaster.”
