WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will grant Louisiana a total of $4,113,093.00 to improve local airports from his Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA).
“Improving local airports is crucial to attract businesses, investors, and families to Louisiana,” said Dr. Cassidy. “With funding from the Infrastructure Law, we’re making our communities more inviting for new opportunities and building an economy for 2050.”

$451,002.00 | Shreveport Airport Authority | This grant will provide federal funding to resurface taxiway pavement and joints at Shreveport Downtown Airport. |
$300,000.00 | Town of Vivian | This grant will provide federal funding to reseal runway pavement and joints at Vivian Airport. |
$108,000.00 | City of Winnsboro | This grant will provide federal funding to rehabilitate runway pavement and lighting at Winnsboro Municipal Airport. |
$200,000.00 | Shreveport Airport Authority | This grant will provide federal funding to reseal the existing cargo apron pavement and joints at Shreveport Regional Airport. |
$146,407.00 | City of Rayville | This grant will provide federal funding to reconstruct the box culvert at John H Hooks Jr Memorial Airport. |
