WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals will receive $4,512,067.57 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for emergency protective measures as a result of Hurricane Ida.
“The Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals was on the frontlines during Hurricane Ida,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will help them prepare for future storms and continue to be a pillar of strength for our communities during natural disasters.”
