WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) today announced the City of Lake Charles will receive $4,113,640.80 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in relief for Hurricane Laura. Specifically, the grant will help Lake Charles repair their Police Department Annex building.
“During a hurricane, first responders put their lives at risk to protect their community,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will help Lake Charles Police rebuild their facilities and continue serving Southwest Louisiana families.”
