WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced Louisiana will receive $5,494,687.67 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for Hurricane Laura, Hurricane Ida, and seawater intrusion relief.
“Louisiana is resilient,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding plays a crucial role in rebuilding our communities, strengthening our defenses against future hurricanes, and ensuring access to clean water for everyone.”

$1,656,558.19 | Office of Risk Management | This grant will provide federal funding for permanent repairs to state agency buildings as a result of Hurricane Ida. |
