Cassidy Announces $6.7 Million for Louisiana in Flood, Hurricane Ida Relief

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senate Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced Louisiana will receive $6,748,398.58 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in flood and Hurricane Ida relief.

“Louisiana is stronger than any hurricane or storm,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will help South Louisiana rebuild from past weather events and prepare for future ones.”

$2,158,047.00St. Tammany ParishThis grant will provide federal funding for permanent restoration of the fishing pier facility as a result of Hurricane Ida.
