WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) today announced the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will grant Vernon Parish a total of $7,738,685.47 in Hurricane Laura relief to pay for the removal of debris.
“Our communities are still trying to recover from Hurricane Laura over a year and a half later,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will help Vernon Parish pick up the pieces and better prepare for the next storm.”
