WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced Louisiana will receive $8,156,832.58 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in Hurricanes Laura and Ida relief.
“Louisiana remains strong in the aftermath of Hurricanes Laura and Ida,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will help rebuild our communities and ensure they are prepared for future storms.”

$5,175,734.79 | Orleans Parish School Board | This grant will provide federal funding for emergency protective measures as a result of Hurricane Ida. |
