WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced Louisiana will receive $80,622,832.83 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in relief for Hurricanes Ida.
“Hurricane Ida was no match for resilient South Louisiana families,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will help our communities fully recover.”
The South Louisiana Electric Cooperative Association (SLECA) will receive $77,630,332.83 for system-wide repairs following Hurricane Ida.
Terrebonne Parish will receive $2,992,500.00 in funding for damages to the Houma Power Plant.
