WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced that Louisiana will receive a total of $9,111,570.09 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in relief for Hurricane Ida.
“Hurricane Ida hit south Louisiana with force, but our communities proved stronger than the storm, ” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will ensure that Louisiana is prepared to weather the next hurricane.”
