WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) today announced the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will grant Louisiana a total of $9,925,220.32 in relief for Hurricanes Zeta and Ida. Jefferson Parish, the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office, and the Louisiana Office of Emergency Preparedness will all benefit from this funding.
“Even after multiple natural disasters, Louisiana families remain strong” said Dr. Cassidy. “This grant helps coastal communities pick up the pieces and prepare for the next storm.”
