Cassidy Announces Lease Awarded for New VA Clinic In Lafayette

WASHINGTON –  U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. announced a 20-year lease has been secured to expand and replace the existing VA Community-Based Outpatient Clinic in Lafayette. Dr. Cassidy is a member of the Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee and has been working with the Louisiana delegation to help secure the clinic’s authorization.

Dr. Cassidy offered the following statement:

“Replacing the existing clinic is a step in the right direction and is good news for our veterans.  Until the clinic opens and starts seeing patients, we must continue to ensure our veterans have access to reliable, quality care in southwest Louisiana. Making sure the VA fulfills its mission to serve our veterans and not bureaucrats must be one of our highest priorities.”
