WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced Louisiana will receive $21,779,074.77 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in Hurricane Laura, Hurricane Ida, and severe winter storm relief.
“Louisiana is a beacon of strength and resilience through any storm,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will help our communities return to wholeness and better prepare for the next one.”

$12,849,079.42 | Jefferson Parish | This grant will provide federal funding for emergency protective measures as a result of Hurricane Ida. |
$2,213,579.75 | Terrebonne Levee & Conservation District | This grant will provide federal funding for permanent work to the Petit Caillou Floodgate due to Hurricane Ida. |
