WASHINGTON – Today, Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. applauded the passage of the Keystone XL Pipeline Act. Dr. Cassidy is a co-lead author of the bill.
Dr. Cassidy offered the following statement:
“We have been fighting to get the Keystone XL Pipeline approved and built for more than 6 years. Today is a step in the right direction. I hope the President joins the majority of Americans who want this pipeline and other energy infrastructure projects built by signing this bill into law. America, and especially Louisiana, has rich natural resources. Let’s use them to expand our energy independence and create jobs.”
